Tucked into the far northeast corner of Italy, Cantina San Lorenzo calls home the Province of Gorizia which lies within the Friuli Venezia Giulia region of Italy. Founded in 1924 as a grower and fast forwarding in the 1950’s with state-of-the-art production methods, the estate has excelled at producing wines from both indigenous and well as international varieties. Giving credit to a unique soil known as Ponca (a mixture of sandstone and marl), the dominant profile is one of expressive fruitiness with refreshing mineral edges.
